  1. My favourite quilt, made by me, hasn't been made yet. I've made patchwork cushions, pincushions and cot size quilts, but not an adult sized one. However, one of those is on my to do list. With this in mind, when I have a spare bit of time, I've been cutting hexies out of fabric, fabric scraps and vintage linens. I'm keeping these in my patchwork tin, and I aim to start on the piecing in the new year. I'm not sure how long it will take to finish it, but I'm looking forward to seeing the end product.

  188. My favorite quilt project goes back to when I was 10 in 1962. I asked all my neighbors for fabric and my mom taught me to make a 9 patch block. I hand sewed all the blocks and my dad built a quilt frame for me. We set it up in our basement and everyone quilted, including my dad and 2 older brothers. It took a while but turned out pretty good for a ten year old and some novice quilters. I still have it. It was well loved and a special memory of my youth. Thanks, Kathy
